Job Details
Location: Monaca, PA
Hours: M-F—40 Hours Per Week. Some OT will be required.
Duration: 12 months with opportunity for longer duration or fulltime employment.
Pay: Negotiable based on experience and expectation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Piping Designer should have fundamental understanding of engineering, construction, manufacturing processes, and operations.
  • Skill in reading drawings in all disciplines.
  • Responsible for performing all aspects of making drawing deliverables for a complete IFC Piping package.
  • Experience with developing 2D arrangement and fabrication drawings and able to generate ISOs and 3D models from field walks for prospective jobs.
  • Ability to lead discussions and incorporate design aspects with engineering, operations and crafts personnel.
  • Ensuring quality deliverables are issued on schedule and within budget.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, AVEVA 3D, S3D, Navis Works Freedom & Simulate.

Job Qualifications
  • Must have 8+ years of experience within mechanical or piping related design work.
  • Must be proficient with both 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Must have experience working with modeling software such as AutoCAD, AVEVA 3D, S3D, & Navisworks.
  • Must have extensive knowledge on piping industry standards.
  • Previous experience in the oil & gas and/or petrochemical industries would be a big plus.
  • Candidates local to the Greater Pittsburgh region are highly preferred. No per diem or relocation offered to candidates outside the region.
