JOB TITLE Piping Engineer – Materials/Value Specialist SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION Reporting to Lead Static (N+1) Head Campaign, SD & Static (N+2) ACCOUNTABILITIES To Co-ordinate and oversee the safe development, implementation and execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in close liaison with, Departmental Planners, Contracts and Procurement Department, Warehouse, Campaign/Shutdown Team Leads & Coordinators, Field Operations Inspection department, Operation Center and T1/T2 Maintenance Coordinators. JOB DIMENSIONS · Key role in short and long term maintenance preparation and support for execution, collaborating and drivingintegration on a daily basis with a wide / diverse range of Leadership stakeholders, in line with 2 year, 4months, 5 weeks planning.· Provide input to Lead Static into the development of annual operational and capital budgets.· Responsible to create and follow up PALM WOs, PRs, POs, related to assigned activities.· Position has interaction with NOC offshore and onshore organisation, and external vendors. ACTIVITIES · Drive an Incident Free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture· Responsible for ensuring positive HSE performance by personnel, contractors and others working under theguidance of the Lead Static .· Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, company standards and procedures under the area of responsibilityto ensure employee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental attitude.· Provides safe and efficient mechanical ‘first line’ support on defined issues and contributes throughapplication of expertise and knowledge as part of the Static team (Piping, valves & vessels), in line withorganizational strategic objectives, targets and plans· Review Vendor offer for Piping components, specialties & valves. Provide Scope of work· Preparation of requisitions for quotations, TQs, technical bid evaluation, purchase specifications, andreview/approve vendor drawings / documents for valves.· Assist inspection department to approve various vendor documents / procedures like pressure test, painting,welding, and packing & preservation etc.· Valve selections, analyze materials, trim options and operators, devise solutions to diverse actuator and valveapplications based on process, costs, environment & integrity issues.· Review/approve datasheet, vendor offer and documentation for valves, piping specialties.· Provide timely piping engineering support and troubleshooting assistance to other departments, includinggiving input to project concepts and engineering review of piping designs.· Develop and maintain procedures and guidelines to ensure safe and consistent piping design in compliancewith internal guidelines, current international standards and industry practices.· Piping component selection work, appraise piping systems and their application to abnormal situations,devise solutions to diverse design, material, environment, cost and integrity issues.· Assure pipe supports philosophies and standards understand applicable industry safety and integrity codes,approve and confirm design audits, company operational, safety and reliability practices.· Provide technical and administrative support, relating to Valves and PSV’s, to the site base operations;preparation of scopes of work for short term interventions, organization of vendors, supply direct support tosite requests (vendors, spare parts, tooling, technical procedures, work packs and work order resourcing).· Provide technical and administrative support to campaign and shutdown teams to ensure the overallreadiness and execution of Valve and PSV scopes in line with campaign shutdown gate criteria process. Workorder resourcing. Coordinate PSV maintenance in liaison with contractors and Campaign Coordinators.· Manage the repair process for critical equipment, Valves and PSV’s including visits to local vendor workshops.
