We are currently recruiting for a key leadership position based in Gladstone and looking for those interested in a fantastic opportunity to lead the maintenance planning team responsible for critical plant operations and contractor management, ensuring the effective management of key assets.

You will oversee the maintenance planning process, ensuring all systems, processes, and plans are in place to manage daily and weekly activities. Your responsibilities will also include budget control, vendor performance monitoring, and fostering a positive safety culture. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and mentor a skilled team, ensuring long-term success and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the maintenance planning team, including plant, ancillary, and contractor management.
- Developing maintenance plans and ensuring cost control methods are in place.
- Maintaining and optimizing the SAP maintenance management system.
- Supporting the development of the maintenance budget and tracking key KPIs.
- Promoting safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven experience in heavy industrial maintenance and planning.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Background in project management, budget setting, and tracking.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline.
