Location: Ashley, IN 46705
Duration: 6 month, contract to hire
Hours: Dupont Schedule-Overtime required as needed.     
Pay Range: $37-$42/hr. depending on experience + per diem for out of market candidates  

Job Responsibilities  

  • Help support the commissioning start-up and operations of a Hydrotreater, Fractionation Tower, and SMR Reformer.  

  • Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance activities of a highly safety sensitive process operating area. 

  • Handle equipment that requires working with high pressures and high temperatures. 

  • Follow safe working procedures for high pressure equipment. 

  • Responsible for documentation of daily activities. 

  • Start-Up Operators are required to work a 12 hr. shifts 6-7 days per week including, nights, weekends, and holidays. 

 

Job Qualifications 

  • Must have at least 2+ years of start-up and/or operator related experience.  

  • Must have previous experience working as an operator in a refinery or chemical plant setting.   

  • Previous experience working with a fractionation tower and hydrotreater would be a big plus.  

  • Previous experience working with an SMR reformer would be a big plus.  

  • Candidates local to the Ashley, IN region would be a big plus.
