Office Location: Makati, Philippines
Work Set-up : Hybrid (90% work from home and 10% office)
The PowerBI Specialist will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and developing new Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards within WPS.
The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, designing data models, creating insightful reports, and collaborating with both technical and business teams to ensure effective decision-making.

About the person Job Specific Skills (knowledge, experience, capabilities, systems, programmes)
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Data Analytical tools like Power BI, Power Query, SQL, SSRS and Visual studio.
- Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights
- Create interactive, visually appealing, and insightful reports using Power BI, with a focus on clarity and ease of use.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration from multiple sources to ensure accurate reporting.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate Data from various sources.
- Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently
- Analyse data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making
- Be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the time line to accomplish tasks• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis
- Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP would be a plus.

Education (qualifications, accreditation, training)
- At least 5 years’ experience in Power BI development
- IT degree/certification preferred
