Job Title: Process Control Engineer

Location: Hull

Type:
 Full-Time, Monday to Friday (with weekend and out-of-hours calls as needed)

About Us:
 We are a dynamic team specializing in engineering solutions, currently seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, particularly within the oil and gas or batch production industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage projects involving Honeywell systems, with a focus on FSC and SM systems (FSC experience preferred).
  • Provide hands-on engineering solutions, including open valves engineering.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex problems confidently and efficiently.
  • Interface with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) with a high level of expertise.
  • Collaborate with a team of three control engineers and one contractor to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • We seek someone with engineering experience in DCS/SIS systems, including Honeywell TPS/Experion control systems and FSC/SM safety systems, ideally gained in continuous refinery or chemical processes. 
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a similar setting.
  • Strong configuration and project management skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and hands-on engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas industry or batch production is highly desirable.
  • Instrumentation technician background evolving into a control position is a plus, but extensive training capacity is limited.
