Our client, a Tier One Mining Organisation, is looking for three Product Acceptance Specialists to join the team on site for an 8:6 roster with occasional night shift patterns. 

Reporting to the Validation Coordinator the Product Acceptance Specialist is accountable for the interactions with development, onsite support, supporting and continuous improvement recommendations of mining products including but not limited to, Fortex suite of products and any future Autonomy Projects.
The Product Acceptance Specialist is responsible for the validation of all Fortex suite of products, along with the development of any tutorial related documentation to assist/mentor current and future end-users in all aspects of the delivered product(s).
The Product Acceptance Specialist will be required to interact with various stakeholders including the Autonomy Definition Group to share their knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Experience:
• At least 3 years site-based experience, with technology-based mixed mining fleet exposure
• Proficiency in the knowledge and application of a Fleet Management System
• Analytical mindset with a holistic approach, strong problem-solving skills, and quantitative aptitude
• A proven ability to mentor and influence a team
• Advanced Level in Microsoft Suite of programs and other corporate programs, combined with a passion for technology
• Proven experience in validation testing

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Mines Regulations and Act and Occupational, Health and Safety legislation and other relevant legislation and regulations
• Good understanding of mining production principles and key drivers to a successful dispatching / fleet control operation
• Strong understanding of efficiency drivers in a large-scale mining operation
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to undertake quality risk assessments

Operations:
o Collaborate with Development/Integration/Verification teams to ensure successful product acceptance.
o Validate Fortex products against Functional Requirements specified by the business, this includes and is not limited to Fortex Control, Fortex Dispatch, Fortex Precision and Fortex Shield.
o Identify and Report system issues during Validation activities promptly using the Jira Bugs process
o Create and update test cases and plans to ensure the products meet the intended functionality from the Functional Requirement.
o Help with developing and maintaining Product manuals and tutorials for the Automation Projects products
o Continuously provide constructive and factual feedback as SMEs to improve the products and systems
o Execute Test Cases/Test Plans when required and capture accurate data/evidence when possible.
o Promptly report testing environment issues to not delay any critical validation activities.
o Complete all necessary site-based daily/weekly Validation Reports when required.
o Roster & Site Travel flexibility for Validation activities coverage based on Release Deployments.
