Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the operations team, fostering a safety and improvement-focused culture.
- Oversee daily plant operations, monitor equipment and production metrics, and manage shift staffing.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to plan and execute maintenance activities.
- Drive operational readiness, including commissioning activities, procedure development, and team training.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational systems, including acting as an authorising officer.
- Relevant technical qualifications or industry experience (trade qualification and Cert IV in Process Plant Technology preferred).
- Proven leadership in chemical, gas, or minerals processing environments, with a strong understanding of industrial operations and safety.
- Experience in control room operations and working in hazardous facilities is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills.
