- The Production Planner will manage the scheduling and coordination of our production processes. They will ensure that all materials and goods required for production are in place and that production schedules are met efficiently and on time.
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the availability of raw materials, equipment, and labor.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address any issues or delays.
- Evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production progress.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Prepare and present production reports to management.
- Implement and maintain production planning software and tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in production planning or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed.
