Project Completion Engineer - Electro 
 
Contract period: 01.09.2025 - 28.02.2027
Location: Haugesund

Main Tasks:
  • Execute commissioning activities according to defined procedures and plans for system:
  • 82: Power system.
  • 85: Battery and No Break System.
  • Coordinate commissioning ATS for vendors of electrical equipment.
  • Maintain FSE for System 82 and 85 during commissioning.
  • Execute discipline commissioning for utility and process systems.
  • Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate field commissioning activities within the disciplines and ensure safe and efficient start up of facilities and systems.
  • Execute the procedures and checklists according to project requirements, standards and regulations.
  • Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with HSE requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, construction team, operations and other disciplines leads to ensure integrated and coordinated start up.
  • Monitor and report progress, identify and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase.
  • Document and verify test results to ensure all systems operate according to specifications before handover to operations.
  • This position is fully mobile with base location Haugesund. Sporadic offshore trips can be expected.

Qualifications:
  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • Experience from NORSOK projects.
  • System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.
  • Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
  • Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.
  • Willingly takes the lead when challenges arise.
  • Actively promotes open and effective communication.
