Overview
A Construction Project Administrator is primarily responsible for managing all administrative aspects of a construction project, acting as a vital link between the client, field team, and office by ensuring smooth communication and efficient execution of administrative tasks related to project coordination, requiring proficiency with construction management software and a thorough understanding of the construction process. Duties
  • Support the Project Managers by maintaining all copies of contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other documentation in the project files and electronically
  • Assist Project Managers with advanced tasks such as submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), meeting minutes and the monthly pay requisition process, as needed.
  • Compile and update records, data entry & file maintenance
  • Prepare, collect, and manage lien waivers from subcontractors.
  • Create and maintain project files for multiple projects. Organize and complete all project paperwork filing.
  • Manage invoices, payments, accounting, and compliance for assigned projects.
  • Provide front desk backup or answer phones on occasion.
Skills
  • Apply a sense of urgency, accuracy and follow through to ensure timely processing of all office tasks.
  • The Construction Coordinator candidate will ideally have 1-2 years construction experience.
  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated & detail oriented with the ability to multitask, and drive results, communicate and follow through.
  • Proficient use of software such as Bluebeam, Microsoft, Excel etc. to complete forms, bookmark data, combine files, or enter and manipulate data for project support.
  • Construction Software (i.e. ViewPoint, HCSS, Procore, etc.)
Requirements:

Reliable transportation
  • Minimum 1 year of construction experience
  • Applicant must be a self-starter who operates independently and thrives in a busy environment
  • 5 days per week in office, no hybrid schedules will be considered
