Project Delivery Manager – CAPEX Projects

About the Role We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager to oversee our CAPEX projects, including a critical fire protection project. In this role you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects within our clients chemical manufacturing site. With no large project support team in place, you will take ownership of raising costs through SAP, keeping Engineering and FM leadership teams updated, and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
Key Responsibilities: ✔ Lead the delivery of CAPEX projects, ensuring safety, cost control, and efficiency.
✔ Oversee fire protection and other mechanical projects, ensuring compliance with site and legal safety standards.
✔ Work closely with site trades, technicians, and contractors to coordinate construction activities.
✔ Ensure effective communication with Engineering and FM leadership teams, providing regular project updates.
✔ Manage project budgets, raise costs, and track expenses using SAP.
✔ Ensure all projects adhere to CDM processes and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For: 🔹 Strong mechanical engineering background, preferably in an industrial setting.
🔹 Experience managing construction projects in a chemical, manufacturing, or process industry environment.
🔹 A keen focus on safety, risk management, and compliance.
🔹 Proficiency in SAP for raising and tracking project costs.
🔹 Solid understanding of CDM regulations and experience ensuring compliance.
🔹 Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
