We are looking for a Project Manager Systems Retrofit (m/f/d) with a main responsibility in executing and running navigation & communication projects. The preferred location for this position is Hamburg, Germany.

What you will be doing as a Project Manager (m/f/d) Systems your work will include:

  • Technical and commercial review of order documents
  • Definition of the technical concept and maintaining the scope in SAP
  • Cost planning, design and maintaining of work breakdown structure
  • Contract schedule and cost control - profit and loss responsibility
  • Preparation and management of work packages (e.g. commissioning, design, engineering, production, development, training)
  • Change order management
  • Ensuring proper and timely project logistics
  • Assessing and manage potential risks of a project (technical & commercial)
  • Supporting the sales department in the preparation of quotations / sales opportunities (partial on site)
  • Regular reporting of project status & performance
  • Holding and attending project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Being first point of contact for partners & customers
  • Leading the retrofit team on board during the conversion phase (partial on site)
  • Apply Project Management best practices. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Navigation Retrofit team with diverse expertise.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering and/or Business or another relevant field
  • Project management experience in international project business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
  • Structured and practical way or working (organization & time management)
  • Teamwork mentality, excellent social and intercultural skills
  • Readiness & willingness to travel internationally
  • Confidence for decision-making
