Job description
NES Fircroft is partnered with a leading mining company who is seeking an experienced experienced Project Planner/Scheduler for an initial 12-month contract located in the Northern Territory. The role will be responsible for contributing to civil and infrastructure projects that support mining operations

About the role
Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
  • Integrate scope, cost, resource, and risk data into project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing proactive solutions and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and assessments to ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for schedule updates and adjustments.
  • Generate reports and visual representations of project schedules for effective communication to stakeholders.

About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
  • Proven experience as a Project Scheduler, with expertise in using Primavera P6 software.
  • Background in civil engineering, infrastructure, or mining projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify schedule trends, critical paths, and potential risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
  • Ability to work in a FIFO to the Northern Territory
  • Demonstrated experience in managing long-term contract positions is advantageous.
