The role will be responsible for contributing to civil and infrastructure projects that support mining operations
About the role
Main job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 software.
- Integrate scope, cost, resource, and risk data into project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing proactive solutions and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and assessments to ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for schedule updates and adjustments.
- Generate reports and visual representations of project schedules for effective communication to stakeholders.
About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Proven experience as a Project Scheduler, with expertise in using Primavera P6 software.
- Background in civil engineering, infrastructure, or mining projects is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills to identify schedule trends, critical paths, and potential risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
- Ability to work in a FIFO to the Northern Territory
- Demonstrated experience in managing long-term contract positions is advantageous.
