Job Title: Project Quality Supervisor
Location: Northwich, Cheshire (Hybrid Role - 3 days on-site minimum)
Contract Length: 12 months
Working Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Contract Type: Outside IR35

About the Role: Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality control in steel fabrication and construction? We're looking for a Project Quality Supervisor to join a dynamic client for a 12-month contract. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of on-site and remote work, ensuring you stay connected while enjoying flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control Planning: Develop and implement quality control plans; align standards with industry norms (ISO, ASTM); identify and mitigate risks.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections; ensure adherence to specifications; coordinate and perform tests (welding, coating, structural integrity); verify material certification.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain inspection records; prepare quality reports; ensure accurate documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote efficiency and quality initiatives; recommend process improvements.
  • Project Lifecycle Involvement: Participate in planning meetings; monitor quality from design to construction.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understand steel fabrication, welding, and construction techniques; familiar with ISO 9001.
  • Attention to Detail: Identify and address quality issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Identify root causes and propose solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for reporting and collaboration.
