Project Responsible Buyer Bulk

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Project Responsible Buyer Bulk with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
The project is led from Bergen.
 
This is a 50% position.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 

What will you be doing?

• Package Responsible Buyer for bulk packages.
• Prepare and develop procurement strategies.
• Sourcing and pre-qualification of potential suppliers.
• Prepare and issue enquiries and perform bid evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts and purchase orders.
• Ensure timely deliveries in accordance with budget and schedule.
• Ensure that all activities are performed according to procedures.
• Follow-up, control and report progress on contracts.
• Report and manage risks.
• Develop and maintain supplier relations.

 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• At least two years of experience with project procurement.
• Experienced with procurement/sales of bulk materials.
• Higher education within business and/or engineering.
• Good technical understanding and commercial skills.
• Basic understanding of customer needs.
• Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Able to work independently on less complex tasks.
• Proactive and flexible, with a team-player attitude.
• Flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
• Skilled in MS Office (Excel proficiency).
• Good knowledge of MIPS.
