Project Support Administrator - 12 month Contract

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to be an integral part of our clients Projects team at Wytch Farm Oil Field near Corfe Castle, Wareham, Dorset.

Wytch Farm produces from 12 remote well sites, via infield flow lines to a central oil & gas gathering station, where separation, stabilisation, water injection, gas compression/drying/fractionation, oil export, power generation, sales gas export, LPG storage and LPG export takes place.

We are currently seeking a Project Support Administrator to work within their Projects team on Pipeline Integrity Improvements projects. The project is currently at an early stage of various phases of option selection, vendor enquiries, detailed engineering, and site execution for the different subprojects (tasks) within the overall programme. This position will be responsible for managing all the administration for the project and to support some of the procurement processes.

This is an initial 12 month contract position, working hours are Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include:
Whilst not an exhaustive list, the role will be required to fulfil the following tasks:

• Take minutes and scribe at progress meetings
• Own the progress / action tracker (including recording actions and follow up on status /completion)
• Maintain document and calculation register, revision control
• Track supplier deliverables including quality assurance dossiers
• Help to maintain project schedules
• Help to maintain materials lists
• Assist with raising purchase orders and expediting orders

Experience/Qualifications

• An individual with a proven track record in project administration is required.
• Experience of dealing with pipelines or hydrocarbon projects would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement.
• The successful candidate will need to be well organised, proactive and to demonstrate excellent team working skills and initiative.
