Project Technical Coordinator

This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of the SNS Projects team. This position will report directly to the SNS Projects manager whilst supporting the wider Projects team with timely and efficient project delivery. You will be expected to work closely with and, under the direction of individual project managers/engineers.

You will be responsible for assisting the project team to work more effectively, undertaking some of the administration activities including, completions and maintenance management system administration, drawing control, close-out, procurement interface and action tracking. This is a multi-faceted role which requires the ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent people skills as you will be interacting with individuals at all levels. You must be highly motivated to work within a fast-paced project team.

This is a Monday to Friday office-based role in Norwich.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Creation of stock material codes and raising of purchase requisitions within in SAP
• Expediting material delivery against project schedules
• Generate and maintain weekly project specific procurement status reports
• Assist on maintaining and tracking of various registers such as plant and equipment
• Administer the construction and pre-commissioning completions systems including upfront population and ongoing updates through project lifecycle
• Interface between onshore and offshore construction and commissioning teams
• Provide governance of completed completions checklists prior to system upload
• Provide weekly status reports of project completion status and punch lists
• Manage project punch lists, also creating Maximo work orders for transfer at project closure
• Assist engineers to track and archive the TQ’s/SQ’s
• Support engineers with the creation of Maximo P1 and P3 forms for project updates
• Generate bi-weekly MOC status reports for all projects until close out
• Support the project leads with management of IVB reports and actions trackers through projects

Qualifications/Skills

• Experience working within a project delivery team is essential
• Experience working within the energy industry is beneficial
• You should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of systemisation and the completions process, for project handover and close out
• Previous experience working with completions software such as PIMS and GOC is beneficial
• Experience working within SAP for material and service order creation
• Familiar with maintenance management systems such as MAXIMO
• Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
• Very strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
• The ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• The ability to work on your own initiative
