The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the QA and QC activities of contracts that could be necessary during the Life of Project and FEED activities up to the close out.

•Vocational qualifications: IRCA QMS ISO 9001:2015 Auditor/Lead Auditor

•Professional Experience: 10-15 years
•Experience in similar position: 5-10 years

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the QA and QC activities of contracts that could be necessary during the Life of Project and FEED activities up to the close out.
ACTIVITIES
Compliance and Conduct:
- Demonstrate exemplary behaviour regarding the Company's "Code of Conduct" and HSSE rules and regulations.
- Implement HSE rules and requirements within your area of responsibility.
- Comply with HSSE training requirements for the position.
- Stay informed about Company rules, specifications, and procedures related to QA/QC
- Support and enforce the Project Quality Management System.
- Promote the Project Quality Policy and Objectives.
- Ensure that Contractor Quality activities are planned and performed in accordance with Project requirements and the Criticality Assessment/Surveillance Plan.
- Define and develop a Package Quality Surveillance program covering Contractors and Suppliers in coordination with concerned Package Managers, Vendor Inspection Coordinator, and Work Package leaders.
- Monitor the performance of Contractors, Suppliers, and Vendors' QC activities.
- Prepare the Surveillance services orders and manage the inspection services contract for the packages.
- Ensure that 3rd party surveillance activities are satisfactorily considered.
- Witness Quality Audits performed by the Contractor on their Suppliers.
- Issue/review associated audit reports and follow up on the implementation of relevant Corrective Action Plans.
- Apply or ensure the application of the Due Diligence procedure.
- Review Contractor's and Supplier's QA/QC Organization to verify its adequacy and effectiveness in addressing all quality issues.
- Ensure that certification requirements are fully implemented.
- Interface with Certifying Authorities for Contractor/Supplier assessment of conformity.
- Participate in meetings with subcontractors and vendors, specifically reminding them of the Contractual commitments and Company expectations regarding Quality.
- Review and approve the Contractor's Quality Control plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
- Mark up Inspection and Test plans with Company surveillance points, with a specific focus on Hold points.
- Analyze and resolve issues and problems highlighted during the quality surveillance/QC activities.
- Review and assess the Contractor Non-Conformance reports (NCRs) and dispositions.
- Ensure proper root cause analysis of Contractor quality failures is undertaken, conclusions are reached, and corrective actions are implemented.
- Follow up and track the Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and NCRs.
- Maintain the Package Quality indicators (KPI's).
- Populate the QC reporting system to enable reactivity in the management of QC issues.
- Maintain the Package Quality records and monitoring registers.
- Raise weekly and monthly status reports to the Package Manager on quality activities.
