NES Fircroft is a leading global technical recruitment company providing professional contract and permanent staff to a diverse world-wide client base within the energy industry. Our client, OneSubsea (JV of Schlumberger, Aker Solutions and Subsea7), located in Mobile, Alabama is looking to add a Quality Engineer I.

Position Summary

• Interact with customers on quality-related topics or issues.
• Lead all efforts to resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure internal and external quality requirements are understood, communicated, and required documentation conforms with the source requirement.
• Ensure completion of internal and external parties as related to contractual requirements Collaborate with Value Stream and Site Quality Leaders to develop and deploy standard practices for process improvement
• Train and assist on the proper use of the 7 Quality Tools
• Conduct of lessons learned procedures.
• Drive to continuous improvement activities

Essential Duties

• Experience and knowledge in ISO 9001 and API 17E
• Possess a strong Quality background with working experience on critical quality tools like Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, FMEA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certifications (or proven experience) Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Quality Management System Lead Auditor
• Bachelor's degree in STEM
