Response and Support Centre Operator 
 
Contract period: 31.03.2025 - 31.03.2026
Location: Stavanger

Main Tasks:
  • Main point of contact in the Company for notification of emergency situations  
  • Acting on all reports of serious incidents and situations requiring emergency response support, ensuring further notification in accordance with established plans 
  • Providing remote support to employees during business travel, following-up Journey Management Plans (JMP) and Travel Communication Plans  
  • Conducting real-time threat monitoring from open sources and initiating actions as needed 
  • As an Operator within the Response and Support Centre, your primary tasks include: 
  • Receive and act on reports of serious incidents, including further notification and mobilisation of Company’s emergency response organisation 
  • Collect, analyse, and disseminate data from open-source information systems to support stakeholders understand and mitigate threats and risks
  • Transform collected data into written and actionable reports
  • Maintain situational awareness of the global threat landscape and proactively inform stakeholders in a timely manner about identified threats
  • Stay updated and seek information on evolving threat picture 
  • Support POB count during incidents and business travel in high threat countries  
  • Collaborate with Company’s emergency organisation by monitoring, responding and executing tasks in Company’s corporate crisis management tool 
  • Conduct notification and mass communication to employees in case of serious incidents  
  • Notify and collaborate with Petroleum Industry Security Alert System (PISAS) when required 
  • The position implies 24/7 shift work - including weekend, evening and night shift

Qualifications:
  • Degree level education preferred - preferably in risk management or a security related discipline  
  • Experience from relevant positions within operations, security, emergency response, and/or military (OSINT)  
  • Have good understanding of security and emergency preparedness 
  • Adequate IT and digital skills. Prior knowledge of CIM (Crisis Management tool) is considered an advantage  
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and oral, is essential  
  • Knowledge of the Company’s national and international role and presence is considered an advantage 
  • Know the Company's values and have high ethical standard  
  • Team player, however able to operate individually 
  • Problem solving skills and creativity  
  • Ability to handle stress in demanding emergency situations  
  • Proactive and pragmatic; strong analytic, problem solving and communication skills
