Global Payroll Project Manager – Until December 2025 – Remote

Must be prepared to go to site in Bracknell as & when required

£87.05/hr Inside IR35 - 36-hour week

Essential:-  Minimum 10 years Project Management. Min 5 years managing large-scale, global IT/HR transformation projects. Extremely strong Payroll experience, even if you don't have S4Hana. Proven experience in payroll systems implementation & related HR technology projects. Experience working in multinational organizations across diverse cultures. Knowledge of agricultural or related industries is a plus. SAP, SAP4HANA is a plus. HR systems. Proven ability to manage complex, large budget projects. Track record of successful vendor selection & management. Working in multinational organizations across diverse cultures

Global Payroll Consolidation

The Global Payroll Project Manager will lead & oversee the end-to-end process of selecting & implementing a new global payroll solution across 90 countries & 4 regions. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, & organizational skills to manage a complex, multi-stakeholder project with significant business impact. The project manager will be responsible for integrating new functionalities, ensuring compliance with regulations, & facilitating user training & support.

HR Workstream - SAP4HANA Upgrade

This project focuses on the implementation of SAP4HANA to modernize the company's Finance infrastructure. The project manager will ensure seamless integration with existing applications. This role requires close collaboration with Finance, IT teams, vendors, & other stakeholders to achieve the desired outcomes.

Global Payroll Project Manager responsibilities

 
  • Oversee the planning, execution, & completion of both projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, & within budget.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including senior management, team members, HR, IT, finance, & external vendors, to ensure project alignment with organisational objectives. Communicate project progress, risks, & issues effectively.
  • Develop & manage project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, & timelines.
  • Monitor project progress & performance, identifying & mitigating risks & issues as they arise.
  • Facilitate effective communication & collaboration among project team members to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation & reports for stakeholders & management review.
  • Develop & implement a change management strategy to address the impacts of the projects. Ensure smooth transition & adoption of new processes.
  • Oversee the integration of SAP4HANA with existing HR systems & manage data migration activities. Ensure data consistency & integrity.
  • Coordinate training programs for HR staff & other relevant employees. Provide ongoing support during & after the transition.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements & maintain accurate reporting throughout the project.
  • Identify potential risks & develop mitigation plans. Monitor & address issues as they arise.
Global Payroll Project Manager experience, capabilities, & skills
 
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in HR & payroll projects.
  • Experience with SAP & SAP4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Global Payroll implementations is highly desirable

Global Payroll Project Manager qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
  • A master's degree is considered an advantage
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or an equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in change management or agile methodologies desirable
