Our client, a tier one mining operator, is looking for two highly skilled computer programmers that are proficient in back-end programming. The Senior Developer will be required to see out a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
• Be passionate about integration technologies, patterns and development
• Have a problem-solving mindset and an affinity for continuous learning
• Deliver technical designs and documentation
• Software development with a focus on microservices (API and Event Driven)
• Deliver to agreed deadlines in an agile delivery environment
• Collaborate with all stakeholders both across the business and IS
• Provide support to product team where required
• Seeing through a product from conception to finish
Skills and Experience:
• 7+ years’ experience in software development languages .NET/C#/Java/NodeJS/Javascript/Typescript
• DDD, BDD, TDD, SOLID design (or have the desire to learn)
• Public cloud service exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with integration patterns and design (i.e. microservices architecture)
• Code control experience using GIT
• Understanding and exposure to protocols and notation (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
• Knowledge of YAML CI/CD pipeline in Azure Devops
• Understand code versioning tools, such as Git
• Rabbit MQ + Mass-transit, Schedulers (like Quartz, Hangfire)
• Proficiency with c# and .Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Degree in Computer Science
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Preferably experience in Mining industry
Full working Australian rights will be required. Perth based candidates or candidates planning a relocation to Perth preferred.
