Job Title: Civil Engineer
Project: Temporary Jetty and Bypass Road Construction
Location: Infanta, Quezon Province, Philippines
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join our team in monitoring/supervising the civil works activities by the contractor, specifically the construction of the temporary jetty and the improvement of roads and bridges. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in managing and delivering infrastructure projects. The position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and compliance with local and international standards and to foster good relationships with local stakeholders and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the safe delivery of wind turbine equipment that will be unloaded at Infanta port
and delivered initially at the temporary laydown areas in Infanta before its eventual delivery to Tanay project site.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government
agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to safetystandards.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Identify and address technical and logistical challenges during the construction process.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, surveyors, and contractors.
Qualifications:
• A registered civil engineer in the Philippines
• 5–10 years of proven experience in horizontal civil structure projects such as jetty, bridge, retaining walls, slope erection, roads, or geotechnical structures.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, structural analysis, and materials used in civil work projects.
• Familiarity with Philippine Building Code, NGCP Standards, local construction standards, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Infanta, Quezon Province and travel as required.
