Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of an environmental consultancy that is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Planner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to renewable energy projects while working with a forward-thinking organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing environmental assessments, planning applications, and stakeholder engagements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing environmental assessments, planning applications, and stakeholder engagements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside fellow planners to optimise and improve the delivery of the services offered by the team
- Lead environmental planning projects
- Build & maintain strong client relationships
- Project manage the planning work stage within multidisciplinary projects to ensure reports are delivered within specific timeframes and budget constraints
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and key stakeholders to facilitate project approvals.
- Tertiary education qualifications in specific disciplines
- Experience in Business Development
- Involvement in renewable energy projects
- Up to date knowledge and experience of working with the state legislations (QLD)
- Salary up to $140,000 + Superannuation.
