Role: Senior Contracts Advisor
Location: Fife, Scotland
Rate: Competitive
Duration: 24 months
Rotation: 5/2 (Monday-Friday)
You will report into Maintenance Management and be responsible for developing and delivering contracting strategy and supplier relationship management, supporting the FEP strategic infrastructure investments over the next years. As the Senior Contracts Advisor you will be part of a team in a process environment. Manage the development of the procurement strategy, execution, implementation, and control, using collaborative and innovative contract strategies to deliver commercial value. Be responsible for driving value within the supply chain whilst having an appreciation of facility related regulation and core procedures.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop, execute and implement agreed Contracting Strategy for FEP’s Maintenance, Projects & Programs services contracts (inclusive of Integrated Events).
• The role will interface with various stakeholders, namely procurement, projects, maintenance, technical, operations and Contractors, with an overall objective of maximising commercial value through contract execution.
Key Responsibilities
SME for Contracting Strategy for FEP’s contract services will consist of the following core requirements:
• Ownership of Contracting Strategy for FEP’s contract services.
• Act as focal point contact to Procurement throughout contract lifecycle (Tender preparation, negotiations & contract implementation).
• Lead management of change for implementation of new site contracts (MoC).
• Networking & Peer Assists: Promote improvement through collaboration.
• Maintain core procedures & documentation within Commercial Group.
Key Performance Indicators
• Contract strategy application that delivers commercial advantage.
• Completion of Tender and implementation in line with agreed timelines.
• Customer satisfaction results regarding contract structure.
• Contract clarity and alignment amongst the Business Line Contract Owners and Contracting Groups.
Skills & Qualifications
• Associated degree preferable.
• Contract application in an Oil & Gas environment.
• Key stakeholder management: possessing strong interpersonal skills
• Working in cross-functional teams across multiple programmes.
• Procurement interface throughout a contract lifecycle,
• Collaboration and management of contract organisations
• Leading management of change for implementation of new and existing site contracts maximising commercial value.
• Providing commercial support during contract lifecycle.
• Contract compliance to ensure effective implementation
• Promoting improvement through peer assists and benchmarking
