Senior  Electrical Engineer
 
Contract period: 16.12.2024 - 31.01.2026
Location: Stavanger or Bergen

Main Tasks:
  • Prepare Technical Specifications for Electrical systems (PRE)
  • Prepare single line and block diagrams and cable interconnection lists.
  • Perform Electrical calculations (FebDok, Heat trace, Illumination, etc.)
  • Prepare MTO and MDL Vendor Follow-up (technical clarifications, and documentation)
  • Coordination of deliverable with other disciplines and suppliers (project dependencies)
  • Participate in design, constructability, and safety reviews
  • Prepare Study reports
  • Prepare documentation and procedures for prefabrication and installation
  • Perform Offshore survey and participate in Factory Acceptance test (FAT), and offshore testing (SAT) if required
  • Follow-up planning dates and milestones
  • Assist project management with project plan and cost estimates
  • Comply with the company's HSE guidelines and QA objectives
  • Contribute with technical solutions to reduce CO2 footprints and how to utilise standards solutions
  • Ensure that discipline deliverable are in compliance with work processes and procedures 

Qualifications:
  • Min. 5-8 years’ experience as an electrical engineer
  • Formal higher education degree in Engineering. A combination of bachelor degree and technical experience (fagbrev gr.L etc) is preferred
  • Familiar with prevailing regulations ATEX/NORSOK/IEC etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of switch gear, transformers, VSDs and electrical motors preferred
  • Preferable experience with ProArc and IFS
  • Valid certificates necessary: EX & FSE, Offshore Certificate & Health Certificate
  • Experience with engineering in Maintenance and Modification projects
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Good Norwegian and English skills, spoken and written
  • Structured and systematic approach
  • Good analytic skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team, to be proactive and focused on safety and project goals
  • Solution oriented and proactive concerning multidisciplinary problems
