Senior Instrument Engineer 
 
Contract period: 02.06.2025 - 31.12.2027
Location: Stavanger, Oslo or Trondheim

Main Tasks:
  • Responsible for field instrumentation and field equipment for safety systems
  • Technical discipline responsible for barrier functions for instrumented systems
  • Operational procedures owner
  • Prepare for taking over equipment from project. Secure necessary tools and frameworks are established for operations phase.
  • Secure compliance and continuous improvement of operational procedures. Ref. BMS 77-001120 Implementation Responsibilities for Process Owners
  • Ensure that the established work practices and procedures for offshore work are delivered with the expected quality
  • Contribute to digitalization of operational procedures through the PXO system portal project as required
  • Secure a good cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors

Qualifications:
  • Education - Bachelor within relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for education. 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience within technical field/discipline   
  • The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
  • Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written  
  • You are a self-starter and able to work independently 
  • You have an interest in how data can be made available, interpreted, visualised, and used as a basis for various recommendations and decisions
