Senior Mechanical Engineer 
 
Contract period: 02.12.2024 - 31.08.2026
Location: Stavanger

Main Tasks: 

- Responsible for safe operation and technical integrity of static mechanical equipment.
- Ensure that preventive and corrective works are planned, prioritised, optimised and executed to meet Company targets on reliability and cost. Optimise work to ensure equipment downtime.
- Review planned maintenance routines and carry out optimisation studies to minimise the cost of maintenance whilst retaining an acceptable level of plant and equipment reliability and integrity.
- Responsible and following up of barrier functions as described in Company Business Management System (BMS).
- Participate in safety incident investigation on assets affecting static mechanical discipline.
- Ensure quality of internal and external deliveries.
- Handling of non-conformance and deviation requests.
- Define basis of design, calculation methods, rules and regulations for modification project work scope and follow up of suppliers during execution.
- Participate in technical review and gate process for modification jobs.
- Ensure that asset specific specifications and technical documentations are kept up to date.
- Contribute to the Mechanical Professional Network and contribute to best practice.
- Carry out offshore visits as appropriate.

Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 7-10 years’ experience with static mechanical equipment. Experience from operations, engineering, modifications and late phase   operations/projects.
- Good knowledge of national and international design codes and standards (NORSOK, ASME, API, EN).
- Offshore installation experience.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and handling interfaces.
- Demonstrated flexibility to take on new challenges.
- Fluent Norwegian and English proficiency.
