- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from Ocean/Mechanical Engineering
- At least eight (8) years Piping Design experience in Oil and Gas Industry
- Hands on work experience with international code and standards such as ASME, API, DNV
- Design Experience : Offshore and Onshore Pipeline
- Hands on experience with Autopipe, Stableline, Mathcad, Offpipe, FATFREE
- The pipeline lead/senior engineer in detailed engineering team reports to the Head of Department (HOD – Pipeline Discipline) functionally. reports directly to the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) when assigned in a project/proposal.
- Finalizes the design basis, project specs, calculations (Wall Thickness, On Bottom Stability, On Bottom Roughness, Stress etc.) in line with Project Scope, International Codes and Client Specs for the project(s) assigned.
- Prepare/review/approve Data sheet, Material Requisition for Items to be procured, while doing so, it’s his/her responsibility to get the prepared documents reviewed by the PEM, as applicable.
- Review Vendor Technical Proposals upon receipt from procurement team.
- Prepare/review/approve the vendor Technical Clarification (Technical Bid Clarification (TBC)), attends clarifications meeting with vendors to ensure compliance of vendor technical offers with project requirement (Spec/Datasheet/MR).
- Prepares/reviews/approves the Technical Bid Evaluation (TBEs).
- Take lead 3D Model Reviews.
- Help to finalize the pipeline equipment location, Equipment supports, Routing along with the piping designer/drafter.
- Assist the engineers to review vendor documents for the package assigned.
- Ensure the incorporation of vendor package details into detailed design.
- Finalize the MTO for Bulk Items along with the engineer/designer/drafter.
- Assist the construction team with engineering support if assigned to site/yard/Offshore Barge.
