Situation in Organization
  • N+2: GMP Project Director
  • N+1: Engineering Manager
  • Direct Reports: None
Job Dimensions
  • Assist and report to the Lead Process Engineer.
  • Support in Process Engineering.
  • Liaise with the affiliate Engineering Department as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSSE rules and requirements.
Activities
  • 15-25 years of experience in petroleum & gas processing industry.
  • Mastery of process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, UNISIM).
  • Strong knowledge in Process design according to industry standards (API, NORSOK, etc.).
  • Experience in Sour Gas Service design required; LNG design is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in Green House Gas reduction and Energy Conservation is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of process control systems.
  • Experience in Licensor coordination, EPC Scope of work preparation, and third-party studies.
Context and Environment
  • Develop a Gas Hub in Southern Iraq Basra province to valorize flared associated gas.
  • The project is part of the Gas Growth Integrated Project (GGIP) DPC.
  • The scope includes gas gathering systems, a gas processing plant, and condensate storage and export facilities.
Accountabilities
  • Execute assigned scopes of work.
  • Support and supervise task delegation.
  • Provide discipline expertise and technical advice.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines during all project stages.
  • Provide technical support to site/Affiliate as required.
  • Produce and review specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations.
Qualifications/Experience Required
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the petroleum & gas industry.
  • Mastery of process simulation software.
  • Strong knowledge in Process design according to industry standards.
  • Experience in Sour Gas Service and NGL design required.
  • Knowledge and experience in Green House Gas and Energy is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
The service will be performed in English.
