NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to work on a major FPSO project.
The position will be in our client offices in Monaco and will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. The role will be required to work in Monaco full time Monday – Friday. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

Main missions:
Senior Project Engineer will:
- Report to Execution Delivery Manager
- Ensure safe, timely delivery and completion of Structure Vessel (Tank, Hull & Vessel interface structures) scope of work for 2 FPSO base in KIZC Field in Angola.
- Class recovery activities on tank cleaning, inspection & repairs for recovery and fore coming requirement:
- Ensure key Interface with Engineering, Construction to map discovery anomaly and ensure timely delivery of repair specification & method statement to execute work offshore (when tanks are open).
- Designed changes such as tank conversion to maintain maximum uptime of the FPSO.
- Interface with offshore HOD to ensure execution plan remain high priority, and clear of SIMOPS (offloading parcel impact, other activity clashing).
- Support Life extension FEED activity associated to life extension.
- Ensure general project coordination associated with above scope including:
- Project controls activities
- Project engineering activities
- Project supply chain activities
- Site construction activities
- Coordinate interfaces with OPS team (Offshore & Onshore)
- Coordinate technical, planning and costing interfaces.
- Job requirements
School/studies/degree: - Masters Engineering Degree or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous experience in a coordinating role on EPC projects including product knowledge, understanding of specifications and critical steps in project execution
- Commercial and contractual awareness and experience of coordinating handover activities
- Experience in Project Controls activities demonstrating an ability to review, analyse, maintain and track budget and financial forecasts and project schedules
- Be a proven team player able to work in large teams operating globally, will demonstrate good communication skills and an understanding of cultural challenges. This position might require international mobility.
- Knowledge of FPSO operations and maintenance activities
