The Senior Sand Control Pumping Specialist must have experience in start-up projects, the job will start by program preparation in order to ensure that wells are delivered/ maintained safely, in optimized time & cost, with targeted productivity, in compliance with local regulations and good oil & gas industry practices.

The Senior Sand Control Pumping Specialist must have experience in start-up projects, the job will start by program preparation in order to ensure that wells are delivered/ maintained safely, in optimized time & cost, with targeted productivity, in compliance with local regulations and good oil & gas industry practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the planning and preparation of gravel pack operations.
- Design gravel pack operations and write job programs.
- Lead risk analysis sessions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Act as the representative during operations, both onshore and offshore.
- Supervise the execution of gravel pack jobs offshore, ensuring all procedures are followed and objectives are met.
- Take full responsibility for the entire gravel pack process, from planning to execution.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of mixing and pumping equipment, data acquisition systems, and quality filtration services
- Monitor and assess sand production risks and implement appropriate sand control measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of sand control operations with other well operations
- Conduct training sessions for team members on sand control techniques and best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on sand control operations and outcomes
Required Qualifications/ Experience
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sand control pumping operations, with hands-on skills in designing and executing gravel pack operations.
- Mechanical Diploma (Bachelor or University diploma or Higher Technical diploma).
- IWCF “Updated” -> E. Learning Certification is not accepted.
- BOSIET (Opito) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Training
- Medical certificate (less than 1 year) by an official organism (i.e. ISOS center).
- Proven hands-on experience in designing and executing gravel pack operations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead risk analysis sessions and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Willingness to work offshore and supervise operations in challenging environments
Working Relations:
- Internal: all entities involved in the rig operations (SIMOPS).
- External: all contractors involved in the rig operations.
Authority:
- Ensure the respect of safety rules, of the environment and of the frame of reference.
- Guarantee the accomplishment of the completion and/or work-over operations, in compliance with codes of practice, safety and environmental protection, all while optimising costs and lead times.
- Ensure the suitability to operational requirements of personnel, equipment and services. Contribute to optimize, through a continual search for the improving equipment, services and operational procedures.
