Senior Structural designer E3D/2D

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Senior Structural designer E3D/2D with  experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Participate in EPCIC modification projects with varied tasks and responsibilities.
• Design of modules, including main structure, outfitting structure, support structures, and temporary structures.
• Review and check drawings completed by others.
• Participate in project meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
• Utilize E3D as the main design tool.

 
 
Qualifications we think you should have:

• MSc/BSc degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written.
• Proficiency in E3D design software.
• Strong software skills relevant to engineering and design tasks.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with government and client requirements.
• Accurate, flexible, organized, and service-minded
• Ability to work independently and in a team
