We have partnered with a well-known Tier One Mining client to find the next Senior Test Engineer (FIFO) and Senior Test Analyst (Perth based) to join the team as key players that contribute towards the industry-leading mine automation solutions projects that are in motion.
FIFO Position
Shift: Nights as 8/6 – 7/7
This work is technical in nature, and you will be exposed to both hardware and software systems. 5+ Years of experience required along with knowledge in Windows, Linux, developing test frameworks and executing integration, system, regression, and performance tests. BSc in Computer Science, BEng in Engineering, or similar required.
Skills needed for the position:
Jira / Confluence
An understanding of Agile and Scrum techniques including user story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Planning and problem-solving with other members of the team.
Technologies including: CAN Bus, DDS, ROS / ROS2, Linux, Build test jigs, Python, Understanding of C / C++, and Behave! / Robot Framework
Primary location: Perth with occassional site travel where required
Shift: Days as 5/2
This role requires an understanding and experience in Test and Defect Management tools and processes. 7+ Years experience required along with knowledge of mining and safety criticial systems. ISTQB foundations / CTFL certified required and a tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline is desirable.
Skills needed for the position:
Highly skilled at test analysis, design, implementation, execution, maintenance and closure activities.
Efficient at requirement traceability analysis and maintenance.
Fluent with both modern Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
Git or other version control system.
Having used common message formats such as XML and JSON
Full working Australian rights will be required. Perth based candidates or candidates planning a relocation to Perth preferred.
