Position: Service Sales Specialist
Location: Working from Home (North England)

Profile:
This new service sales specialist role is an exciting opportunity, where you’ll be responsible for growth of the service customer base, as well as the sale of advanced / digital offerings provided by the business, including future developments. This role reports into the Sales & Tendering Manager role.
You’ll be heavily focused with new customers, delivering full sales cycles, which includes, identification, opportunity generation, presentation / tender responses, negotiation and closing.
Although a working from home relationship, you are required to travel to the office during sales meetings, office is based in the Midlands and when visiting clients which are based in North England.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client enquiry documentation, interpretate their requirements and asses the commercial terms and conditions.
- Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotes, ensuring the best available product mix, with appropriate technical and commercial consideration for each situation.
- Identify risks and opportunities in contract agreements across channels and customers.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships, providing any necessary technical support to sales managers during meetings with customers.
- Identify potential vendors for equipment and materials which are required in the project and evaluate supplier offers to match with specification, remaining in collaboration with Supply Chain Management.
- Work across teams, including tendering to manage the preparation of all technical, financial, operational, financial aspects of the bid, estimates, quotes – indicating prices and trading conditions.
- Work across a variety of business streams, countries, and cultures. Networking and ability to build relationships with people is key in this role.
- Identification of client requirements, liaise with internal and external suppliers in close liaison with Sales, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Planning, Engineering and Commercial Functions.
- Recognise engineering qualification minimum HNC.
- Showcase proven sales experience, with a focus on new business generation, with strong records of winning new customers.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and working to your own initiative.
- Good PC Skills including Microsoft Office 365 Products.
- High Voltage (HV), (400kV – 132 kV), and (MV) (66kV – 11kV) knowledge and Industrial Substation experience.
