gest overall construction project undertaken by the client business plan to establish a world-scale Cracker (1.45mtes/a Ethylene) in the Antwerp area.  

The plant is planned to come on-line around 2026 and will be managed by an Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) which

consist of client and Program Management Contractor engineers. The facilities will be  delivered by 4 Program Delivery Teams, which will manage the work scopes and FEED/EPC  

contractors with support and oversight from the IPMT.
 

The Project ensure the plant is delivered:  

• With zero lost time accidents, recorded injuries and environmental releases  

• On-time and within budget  

• Total compliance with all government laws and Ineos policies during the execution,  

commissioning and start-up phase  


B. Purpose of the job:  

The purpose of the SHE supervisor is to ensure that Project One meets National,  

International and INEOS standards and that the Project is will be executed safe and meets  

the Project KPI’s and objectives.  

The role will be part of an Integrated (Owner/EPMC) team that prepare and organise the  

health and safety program for Project Delivery Team and this person will give functional  

support and guidance to the SHE Manager.  


C. Accountabilities of the job:  

The role reports to the Construction SHE Manager, and the Construction Manager. The role  

responsibilities include:  

• Supervise the practical execution of the Overall SHE&S Plan within his assigned area  

• Ensure site safety on the ground at the site, starting with the first day of site  

preparation.  

• Manage day-to-day safety supervision on site, approve/ disapprove tools & work  

installations, intervention on unsafe acts.  

• Support the layout of the site relating to constructability, accessibility, traffic ways,  

equipment transport, lifting strategies, etc.  

• Support Construction Manager and other team members in resolving SHE nonconformances, etc.  

• Reports to the assigned SHE manager on a daily basis  

• Liaise closely with the Contractor personnel on all SHE matters, ensuring field SHE  

are resolved in a proper and timely manner.  

• Works closely with the Legal Safety Coordinator (veiligheidscoördinator) for  

compliance with Temporary and Mobile Worksites regulation.  

• Monitor SHE work performed by the Contractors and other third party, providing E. Required profile:

 

Specific Role Requirements:  

• Degree qualified or equivalent in appropriate engineering discipline.  

• Mid level HSE qualification.  

• Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.  

• Proven track record of delivering leading SHE performance.  

• More than 15 years’ experience on SHE supervision during construction on a  

major Construction Site.  

• Experience supporting, SHE for construction in Belgium would be a significant  

advantage.
