Slickline Operator – 12 month Contract – Offshore Operations
As a Slickline Operator, you will be responsible for executing slickline operations at offshore sites, including tasks such as gas lift valve servicing, bailing, swabbing, and plug setting and retrieval. This position will be offered on an initial 12 month contract, working on a FIFO rotational roster (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) and paid on a daily rate.

As a Slickline Operator, you will be responsible for executing slickline operations at offshore sites, including tasks such as gas lift valve servicing, bailing, swabbing, and plug setting and retrieval. This position will be offered on an initial 12 month contract, working on a FIFO rotational roster (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off) and paid on a daily rate.
As a Slickline Operator, you will:
- Conduct slickline operations in rig-less platforms and hydraulic workover units, including the servicing and operation of 10K pressure control equipment.
- Assist in the assembly, inspection, maintenance, and loading of equipment required for scheduled operations.
- Collaborate with onshore Service Delivery Coordinators in operations planning.
- Provide training and guidance to local personnel on best practices and standard operating procedures, facilitating knowledge transfer and lessons learned.
- Maintain accurate records and communications as required by the Operations Manager.
- Help refine local procedures to support the start-up of offshore operations.
- Have experience in wireline/slickline operations.
- Have offshore experience.
- Demonstrate pressure control competency and familiarity with downhole tools.
- Possess strong teamwork skills and effectively manage slickline personnel in an offshore environment.
- Be competent with slickline pressure control equipment and platform or hydraulic workover rigs.
- Be motivated to identify and address personnel competency gaps, fostering continuous learning within the industry.
- Advantageous to currently hold a BOSIET, MSIC and/or OGUK valid medical.
