NES Fircroft is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join the team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects. As an SMP Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of structural, mechanical, and piping engineering within the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of SMP engineering activities for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and resolve any engineering-related issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SMP engineering, preferably in the construction or heavy industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural, mechanical, and piping systems, materials, and construction methods.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • 6 month contract to start
  • View to extend or transition into a permanent position
  • $900 - $1050 / day + super
