Job Title: SOX Tester
Job Type: Contract/Part-Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified SOX Tester with an accounting background and experience in controls testing. The SOX Tester will be responsible for conducting audits twice a year, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. This role requires independence and the ability to attend training sessions to acquire the necessary skills.

About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified SOX Tester with an accounting background and experience in controls testing. The SOX Tester will be responsible for conducting audits twice a year, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. This role requires independence and the ability to attend training sessions to acquire the necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Controls Testing: Perform SOX controls testing to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
- Independence: Maintain independence and objectivity throughout the audit process.
- Training: Attend mandatory training sessions to ensure the appropriate skillset for conducting SOX audits.
- Audit Execution: Conduct audits during the months of January and September, each lasting approximately two to three weeks.
- Reporting: Document and report findings, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in controls testing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SOX requirements and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity.
- Availability required twice a year for audit periods in January and September.
- Each audit period will last approximately two to three weeks.
