NES Fircroft are delighted to be partnering with a major EPCI contractor specialized in Marine & Offshore works who are looking for multiple contractors to carry out Structural Engineering services on an FPSO project in South America .
The position is based in their offices in Paris and will operate on a contract basis for an initial 12-month duration for excellent potential to extend beyond as project work scopes develop. Th The schedule will be Mon – Fri. In return the individual will be provided with an excellent day rate.

PLANNING :

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze offshore subsea structures including FLETs, manifolds, suction piles, and large mudmats.
- Utilize FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic) and Beam software SACS for structural analysis.
- Perform hand calculations to validate design solutions.
- Review and provide feedback on drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with draftsmen, ensuring data provided is accurate and timely.
- Propose innovative solutions and improvements to project leads.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in offshore subsea structure design and analysis.
- Proficiency in FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D volumic) and ideally Beam software SACS.
- Strong hand calculation skills.
- Ability to work independently and propose effective design solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral); proficiency in French is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on previous projects involving offshore subsea structures.
- Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on technical drawings.
- Strong collaboration skills with draftsmen and other team members.
- Commitment to meeting project deadlines and delivering accurate data.
