SUPPLY CHAIN CONTRACT MANAGER

PROJECT:
The service that is the subject of this document is part of the project: Multiple Projects

DESCRIPTION:
The activity of this service will focus on:

  • Support the Procurement Function in negotiating contract documents of purchase orders and agreements during project execution
  • Provide advice on the main contractual risks, and identify and propose contractual mitigation actions within the framework of Saipem purchasing framework
  • Review and qualify different types of Supply Chain contracts and agreements, including but not limited to: purchase orders, services contracts, work contracts as well as associated confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure and restrictive use agreements; licensor agreements
  • Participate in meetings Vendors and Subcontractors, negotiating the contractual instruments with the counterparties in the best interests of the Company and in accordance with Company risk policies.
    Analyse and prepare , agreements, master agreements, Confidentiality agreement etc...
    Ensure the flow-down and transfer of contractual risk from the contract with the client to the purchase orders and agreements with vendors and sub-contractors, identifying provisions that shall be transferred to passive contracts in relation to obligations of the main contract or due to the specific scope of work
  • Apply company guidelines and standards relevant to contract management, and remain up to date for any laws, rules related to the Company activities

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To carry out this service, the Holder must bring the skills described below:
 
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Previous experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction or Supply Chain (3 - 10 years)
  • Legal background necessary
  • Knowledge and experience of english law and industry standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, BIMCO, IOCs', etc.)
  • Strong commercial awareness and good negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in reviewing, advising and negotiating supply chain contracts and tenders
  • Ability to work under time pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and influencing skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership skills / Team player attitude
