As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for: Surveying Engineer in Stavanger who can help us succeed.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?
- Perform dimensional control surveys, on- & offshore (worldwide)
- Calculation and 3D modelling (MicroStation/E3D)
- Perform 3D Laser scanning & point cloud management (LFM) High grade of involvement in ongoing tasks for planning of work Installation assistance, setting out known coordinates on site
- Dimension control of prefabricated items in own yards and equipment at vendors’ locations
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
- Experience with dimensional control and/or land surveying
- Processing of all captured data and preparation of final deliverables
- Preparing & checking of drawings, 3D models and reports3D
- Laser scanning good cooperation skills and interest for working in teams
- Software Skills: Leica Cyclone, Graphic Survey, Bentley MicroStation
- Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
- Available for work in Norway
- Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
