Our client, a tier-1 mining operator is seeking a Systems Engineer who will develop and implement autonomy and energy products, leveraging systems engineering, automation, and control systems expertise. Responsibilities include design, testing, deployment, mentoring team members, and integrating new technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Define system requirements for autonomy and energy management.
- Design and verify software and hardware for autonomous systems.
- Integrate technologies like sensors and communication protocols.
- Create system design interfaces and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated on technology trends.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Strong systems engineering principles.
- Knowledge of control theory, functional safety, and security in design.
- Experience with N2 charts, embedded systems, and communication protocols.
- 5+ years in systems engineering.
- Familiarity with SysML or other modeling frameworks.
