NES Fircroft are working alongside Chevron Australia seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team.


Hours: Monday to Friday 9 hour days (CWW, every 2nd Friday off)
Location: Perth CBD (Elizabeth Quay)
Length of Contract: 13 months
Reporting to: Talent Acquisition & Learning Team Lead.



This job vacancy is for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the ABU Talent Acquisition & Learning team.

This role will be responsible for local and university hiring recruitment processes and activities for Chevron Australia upstream and provides the opportunity to act as a strategic partner in building ABU’s talent pipeline.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


  • Oversee and facilitate university hiring, including university engagement events, assessment centres and intern & graduate selections. This role is the business point of contact for university hiring.
  • Manage the 12-week summer Intern Program which involves organising & facilitating program activities/learning sessions, resources, and being the point of contact for the program.
  • Provide guidance & escalation support to hiring managers and the Manila talent acquisition teams on local internal & external hiring processes & best practices.
  • Advocate for unconscious bias awareness and champion diversity and inclusion goals during the hiring processes
  • Partner with global talent acquisition teams & external vendors to build local talent acquisition best practices.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, talent market changes, and competitor analysis to adjust sourcing strategies accordingly and maintain a competitive edge in hiring.
 

Must have skills:
 
  • Experience in talent acquisition & facilitation
  • Proactive self-starter with strong project management, organizational & time management abilities
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building with a strong commitment to collaboration and driving best practices
  • Ability to take initiative in identify and anticipating business needs, make strategic recommendations and partnering with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
