NES Fircroft are currently supporting our client in the search for a proactive and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join their Training & Assurance team.

If you enjoy organising, streamlining processes, and making a real impact on how training is delivered and tracked within a business, this is the role for you.

You’ll be a key player in managing competence and training systems across UK onshore and offshore assets, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and efficient approach to Learning & Development (L&D). You'll work closely with a small, supportive team and have the chance to challenge the status quo, improve processes, and help maintain excellence in workforce capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-manage Learning & Development activities alongside a fellow Training Coordinator.

  • Maintain and update the competence management system with accuracy.

  • Coordinate daily training requirements, balancing workload and priorities.

  • Ensure processes are followed throughout the full employee lifecycle.

  • Drive cost-effective training solutions that add genuine value.

  • Monitor training effectiveness and suggest improvements to evaluation tools.

  • Stay on top of changing standards and propose updates to corporate initiatives.

  • Ensure accurate admin and reporting to support continuity and decision-making.

  • Meet and monitor KPI targets, escalating issues when necessary.

  • Support ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Competence Assurance Advisor/Lead or HR Manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Strong background in admin, records management, or customer service roles.

  • Previous experience in offshore or training coordination is a plus, but not essential.
