PURPOSE:  The Transformation Lead will play a key role in providing transformation expertise for our highest value projects within the different entities and across the different regions. The role holder will join the transformation program/project working group to lead and support certain transformations with focus on operating model and org design.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead and support transformation projects in line with Business strategy
  • Together with the Business and Transformation Lead shape a high-quality transformation strategy and plan across all operating model, organization and people elements of the program/project, build a decision driven critical path to ensure value is captured at the right time.
  • Ensure maximum visibility of issues, business risks and mitigations.
  • Provide expert advice on transformation capabilities especially in the operating model and org design space, share best practise and external insights
Lead the development of operating model, review organizational effectiveness and lead on organization design
  • Expert to lead and support initiatives that align structure, people and processes with business strategy
  • Lead organization design efforts including org structure analysis, role clarity and decision-making frameworks
  • Assess how well the organization functions
  Build transformation capability within bp
  • Continue capability build for Business and P&C community
  • Further develop the different playbooks and tools to support our teams
 
Key relationships
  • Internal key relationships:
O Senior Business leaders, Senior Transformation leaders, Senior P&C leaders – will support the business to deliver the transformation program/project       
  • External key relationships:
O External best practise, external partners to ensure we have got external insights, state of the art practise as well as working closely together on some of the projects)
Formal education:
  • Higher degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Transformation capabilities and scenarios (efficiency, offshoring, in- and outsourcing, growth) – strategy activation, delivery methods, operating model, org design, people transition, change, workplace, culture, talent
  • Strong understanding developing an operating model, reviewing organizational effectiveness and leading organizational design
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and challenging deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated ability to interact confidently with senior leaders and employee populations both internally and externally.
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environments
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders, strong consultancy skills and building relationships across the organisation
