SENIOR MANAGER TRANSPORT & WAREHOUSE

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of nine (9) years management experience in port operations including working at the management level. 
  • Experience working at multinational company. Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry in mining area.
EDUCATION
  • Formal qualification in materials management along with a degree in business, engineering and/or logistics or equivalent experience.
  • Have middle level operational inspector certificate (POM) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reporting to Deputy Director Business & Commercial, Senior Manager Transport & Warehouse is responsible for managing day to day operations of a company transportation and facility including but not limited to operation of bus, light vehicle, taxy, boat, and aviation.
    • Direct subordinates: 4 (Supt. Land Transportation, Supv. Planning Manifest, Cost & Schedule, 2 Air Traffic Controller).
    • Indirect subordinates: 92 (employees), 168 (Contractor Drivers), and 6 (Contractor General Assistants).
  • Comply with all laws and regulations applicable in Indonesia on Occupational Health, Safety and Mine as well as those required under the Regulation of the Ministry of Mines and Energy No. 26 of 2018 and Decree of Ministry of Mines and Energy No. 1827 K / 30 / MEM / 2018
  • Communication (Committees, Meeting, and Required Liaising) Establish and maintain close communication with all of Manager Department, Director and Deputy Direction, GMO, Government, Harbour Master, Policy and Business Partner.
  • Coordinate activities of the employee transportation function with other major user departments including mine operations, mill, port, services, accounting and Denver-
  • May propose new procedure to ensure effective and efficient Transport Department.
  • Develop and implement methods to increase the usage of the service.
  • Evaluate departmental procedures and practices and ensure compliance with company standard operating procedures.
  • Develop MOS and communication plans to ensure that Daily, Weekly and Monthly information critical for running the business and servicing the customer is in place.
