Job Opportunity: Travel Advisor

Start Date: As soon as possible (initial 3 month contract)
Hours per Week:  4 days per week (Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri)
Location: Leederville
Experience Level: Approx. 5 years experience


Summary

As the Travel Advisor, you'll be the go-to person for all travel, conference, and accommodation booking services for our managers and employees, ensuring everything aligns with our policies and standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and market corporate travel, conference, and accommodation booking processes. Foster strong relationships with service providers to ensure excellent service and value.
  • Manage bookings to meet service levels and provide expert advice to managers, staff, and external service providers, helping to resolve issues and meet business needs.
  • Provide guidance on corporate travel and conference policies. Ensure travel activities and conference registrations are completed to high standards and on time.
  • Develop and promote processes and relationships that add value and meet evolving business needs.
  • Generate financial and statistical reports on travel activities and reconcile purchasing card statements monthly.
  • Work closely with managers, staff, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Engage with service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
 

Essential Criteria
  • Experience: Proven experience in travel coordination and administration, ideally within the Australian airline or travel industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer-based travel management systems, business communications, stakeholder relationship management, and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to manage air travel, conference, and accommodation booking processes effectively.
