UFR Interface & Risk Management Engineer
General;
- Report to Subsea Manager for all Interface and Risk Management activities for UFR package
- Manage small technical studies / activities with contractors (from scope of work definition to execution) ensuring progress reporting and technical objectives and delivery to required schedule is achieved e.g welding prequalification activities.
- Support Technical Team for follow up and review of technical elements related to the UFR FEED, dependent on incumbent skill set and workload of other UFR Team members.
- Prepare Project documentation and reports.
- Assist Subsea Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Interfaces and Risk Management;
- Be the focal point for UFR technical Interfaces and Risk Management activities and processes
- Lead the implementation and coordination of the Project Interface and Risk Management processes within the UFR Package and ensure cascade into the execution of the UFR Contract.
- Ensure identification, validation and resolution of detailed Interface issues in conjunction with managers / senior discipline engineers (including HQ SME), in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure an appropriate identification of Risks / Opportunities, an efficient development and follow-up of the associated mitigation plans in conjunction with managers / senior discipline engineers, in order to reach the Project objectives.
- Interact directly with the Project Interface Manager for the follow-up of UFR interfaces and for reporting areas of concern regarding preventive or corrective actions.
- Ensure follow-up on progress and timely resolution of interface requests as well as support proactive resolution of interfaces disputes.
- Monitor and liaise directly with contractors for technical Interface and Risk Management matters during execution of the UFR contract.
- Provide active reporting to the UFR Package Manager and the Project Interface and Risk Manager.
HSSE;
- Ensure that work activities are performed in compliance with a high regard to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.
- Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE and implementation of HSSE rules and requirements.
- Ensure that HSSE issues are correctly addressed within the work .
- Ensure that safe working practices are applied at all times and during at all phases of the work.
Quality;
o Ensure that work activities are performed in compliance with a high Quality Assurance regard.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualification: Very good experience in Oil & Gas Documentation Control management
- Languages: English and French
- Professional Experience: At least 10 years
- Experience within the project: At least 5 years
